Crescent Bay – Night

A couple of images from a recent, very brief stop in Laguna Beach. These were long exposure images made at night, hence the milky white appearance of the breaking waves. In the first image, the waves look almost like clouds. It feels to me like a scene from a dream. The second photograph also feels slightly surreal… more like a Rothko painting than a photographic image.
